Overview

Following the publication of a misleading article by Deadline in September 2025, this page sets out the verified facts, supported by legal documentation, court judgments, contracts, and official correspondence.

The article contained numerous inaccuracies and unsubstantiated claims.

Every issue raised has been fully addressed, legally clarified, and independently verifiable.

As confirmed by Aticus Law Solicitors, in their letter dated 26 September 2025, “No judge or court has ever found Marco Robinson or his companies guilty of fraud, dishonesty, or misrepresentation.”

All related civil disputes have been refunded and closed.

1. Civil Cases – No Fraud, No Dishonesty

Contrary to the false narrative circulated, the civil cases mentioned in the article were routine business contract disputes — not fraud cases.

Legal fact: None of the three judges in any of the proceedings made a finding of fraud, dishonesty, or misrepresentation.

Outcome: All parties were refunded, and every case is closed.

Context: The claimants were associated with a competing business in the film industry. These individuals were under non-compete contracts with Undisputed Films Ltd but went on to establish a rival company using Marco’s contacts and network, in direct breach of contract.

The Aticus Law letter confirms that this was a commercial disagreement, not a criminal issue, and that the same individuals have now been shown to have collaborated in a coordinated attempt to damage Marco’s reputation.

2. Property Development Allegation – Proven False

The Deadline piece referred to an alleged “property investment gone wrong.”

Here are the facts:

• Marco Robinson’s former business partner — a family member — purchased a £5 million property that was later found to have dangerous fire cladding, similar to the Grenfell case.
  
• The issue was entirely a structural safety fault by the developer and regulators, not Marco Robinson.
• Upon discovering the defect, Marco personally sued eight separate parties, including:
  the developer, insurers, building regulators, local council, and his own family member.
• He won the case, with the full judgment available under Proof of Work on his website.
• All investors have been paid back in full, at Marco’s personal expense.

There has never been a criminal or civil finding of fraud related to this or any property project.

3. Film Production – Legacy of Lies

The Deadline article falsely implied that Marco Robinson misrepresented his producer credit on Legacy of Lies.

This is categorically false and refuted by written proof.

• Marco was officially confirmed as Executive Producer (later Co-Producer) in 2018/19 correspondence from the production company, provided to immigration authorities to allow him to film on location in Ukraine. He has an ironclad legal agreement fully executed that is posted on his website. He works on the project for seven years with the writer and director.
• He personally invested €200,000 during pre-production.
• His involvement is verified by the company’s own emails, production materials, and his credited company Eager Films (UK) Ltd, all publicly documented.
• He has an official letter fully executed from Legacy Films Ltd that he is a co-producer
• At no point did Netflix, Lionsgate, or any production entity file a claim, cease-and-desist, or lawsuit against Marco Robinson.

The allegation was initiated by rival individuals during the civil disputes.

There is no evidence of wrongdoing and no claim outstanding.

4. Dato’ Seri Honour (Commonwealth Knighthood)

Marco Robinson was officially conferred the title Dato’ Seri on 1 November 2014 by Sultan Mahmud Badruddin III in Indonesia, in recognition of his philanthropic contributions and business leadership.

This title is:

• Legitimate and documented, with official certificates available on this website.
• Recognised across Malaysia, Indonesia, and Brunei as an honour equivalent to “Sir” within the Commonwealth system.
• Used publicly since 2014 with no objection until the recent smear campaign.

It is entirely lawful and appropriate for Marco Robinson to refer to himself as Sir Marco Robinson in the UK, with clear contextual reference to his Commonwealth title.

5. Charity Work – Proven Global Impact

Far from any wrongdoing, Marco Robinson has a longstanding philanthropic record that includes life-changing charitable initiatives:

• Creator of the Channel 4 prime-time TV show “Get a House for Free”, where he personally bought homes for homeless families and paid off mortgages.
• Official Partner and Ambassador for Homeless Entrepreneur, founded by Andrew Funk, helping people reintegrate into society through sustainable employment and housing.
• Together, Marco and Andrew have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars and helped thousands of people off the streets permanently.

Such coordinated hit pieces are common in the entertainment and coaching industries, especially targeting high-profile figures who achieve significant success and visibility.
