When the TV Show aired it went viral to 67 countries internationally and made a profound statement that homelessness is at epidemic proportions with approximately 1.4 Billion people homeless or in temporary housing.
Marco gave three houses away and changed many lives, however he knew this wasn’t enough and started his own Registered charity FREEDOMX (registered charity 1184907 IN england & Wales and a 501 (3) C in the United States) to help end homelessness.

In 2017, Channel 4 TV in the U.K. a government owned prime time tv station asked Marco if he would like to make a special tv show to address the social housing issue in the U.K.
They asked Marco because they had discovered his incredible life story of him and his mum being homeless for long stretches of his childhood, through sexual and domestic abuse…
They fell in love with his story of having no home then turning his life around to become a property multi-millionaire and the fact he had already given away a couple of his own houses previously.
Marco didn’t hesitate and jumped at the chance of finding homeless families he could re-house and ultimately give one of his own houses to and pay off the mortgage.
The book is being made into a Musical called “Legacy of Spies” with Marco taking the lead role.

Marco has received a Commonwealth Knighthood in Malaysia & The Republic of Indonesia for helping 350,000 blind people gain access to public places with guide dogs that were previously banned.
He helped produce the short film “Are You Blind” which gained more than 15 million views worldwide which outraged the world blind community, exposing the inhumane treatment of 350,000 people in Malaysia that were not allowed to take guide dogs into public places
